Ageing & Disability Support Services provide a range of services that receive funding from the Australian and NSW governments. The aim of these services are to:

  • Allow people with disabilities and those who are frail aged to remain living safely and independently in their own homes, where appropriate, rather than nursing homes or hostels;
  • To support the family members and friends who are carers.

Support services receive funding under programs such as the Commonwealth HACC (Home & Community Care) Program, the NSW Community Care Supports Program (CCSP - Former HACC from ADHC), the Disability Services Program (DSP), Community Aged Care Packages (CACPs) and National Respite for Carers Program (NRCP). For more detail on services, click on the link for the Service Directory on the top of this page.

This website has been developed to provide information to the community about support services for people who are ageing or have a disability in Bankstown, Fairfield and Liverpool.
